A meditative journey which attempts to come to terms with the great symbols of nature: the mountains and the sea. Yet, the image of nature never seemed to match up with the reality of the sites encountered. The film follows a fictional hero, who upon returning to the city, recalls his travels from Hoek van Holland on the Dutch coast to Poschiavo in the south of Switzerland.
